Troubleshooting
What is the best way to build heat in my K1?
The K1 is built to retain heat and only requires a very small amount of charcoal to reach +250°C/482°F. We recommend starting with 200-300grams (7 oz – 10.5 oz) of charcoal. Overloading the K1 with greater volumes of coal is not recommended as this will result in a waste of coal and can result in product damage and / or spoilt food.
